1988 - Graian Alps Photos

Another mummy frightener from the Glencoe training weekend for the 88 Geog-Ex. This was taken on the Sunday morning climb of Clach Leathad. If you look to Ian's left you can make out the orange Force Tens at the bottom of the corrie.

This shows how the expeditions would always try and interact with the locals in the places we travelled through. This was a small mountain village called Mole, in Italy, where the old gentleman was interested to hear where we from. He was given a woven Scotland badge, and in return gave us a wee drink of wine!

That was an easy jump in the snow with an ice axe - but the ones with kagouls went down fast lol. Anyone remember the rabbit traps from Clifford?
