1973 School trip to Colle Isarco, North Italy

Reader Comments (2)

Found site through Friends Reunited and have spent all night reliving my first ever ski trip to Colle Isarco and then next year in Switzerland . Even found the NW Scotland trip which I still remember was great fun. I never thought I would see these films again. All thanks to the best teacher I ever had. I have Ian Barr to thank for my life long interest in skiing and hill walking.
Fantastic memories but all die to a great man.
Thank you.

Such great memories, Ian Barr was a prince among men, a great teacher who brought adventure into the lives of we mere mortals. I rember Louis the mad ski instructor, those kick
turns he did had us in knots !! Happy days!!
