Found site through Friends Reunited and have spent all night reliving my first ever ski trip to Colle Isarco and then next year in Switzerland . Even found the NW Scotland trip which I still remember was great fun. I never thought I would see these films again. All thanks to the best teacher I ever had. I have Ian Barr to thank for my life long interest in skiing and hill walking. Fantastic memories but all die to a great man. Thank you.
Such great memories, Ian Barr was a prince among men, a great teacher who brought adventure into the lives of we mere mortals. I rember Louis the mad ski instructor, those kick turns he did had us in knots !! Happy days!!
